Aric Almirola subbed for ailing Scott Speed, who spent part of Saturday’s second [Happy Hour practice] session getting IV fluids in the New Hampshire Motor Speedway infield care center. Speed, who was suffering from a stomach bug, felt well enough by the end of practice to walk over to the Red Bull Racing garage stall as Almirola completed practice in the #82 Toyota. Speed is expected to be behind the wheel for Sunday’s Sylvania 300, though the team has asked Almirola to stand by in case he’s needed (Sporting News)(9-19-2010)
