Wallace Brothers closing in on 1000 starts: 416: The number of career starts for #01-Mike Wallace in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Mike’s brother #09-Kenny Wallace got a lot of ink last year when he became the career leader in Nationwide starts, but many overlooked the fact that Mike is fourth on the all-time list; with his next start, Mike will tie Tommy Houston for third. With Kenny’s 522, Mike’s 416 and now-retired Rusty Wallace’s 42 Nationwide starts, the racing Wallace brothers should hit 1,000 combined starts in the series sometime this season.(NASCAR Wire Service)(2-7-2012)
