Johnny Davis to field second team: To better strengthen its overall program, JD Motorsports will field a second car for the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series season. Johnny Davis, owner of JD Motorsports, will race a #4 Chevy to double their efforts on the track this season. Mike Wallace will continue to drive the #01 Chevy for JD Motorsports on a full-time basis with Newt Moore as the crew chief. The second car will have several drivers in the seat including Danny Efland and Darryl Harr; with the possibility of Mike’s daughter, Chrissy Wallace, driving if marketing partners can be found. Efland will drive the #4 Chevy for JD Motorsports in the upcoming NNS race at Daytona International Speedway. Both cars are locked into the first five races via their Owner’s Points from the 2011 season.(JD Motorsports)(2-8-2012)
