  • Blum to debut at Chicago in the #41: 18-year-old NASCAR Mexico Driver, Juan Carlos Blum, will follow in the footsteps of his NASCAR Mexico team owner and mentor, NASCAR’s first Hispanic driver Carlos Contreras, and make his NASCAR Nationwide debut at Chicagoland Speedway this Saturday, September 15th at the Dollar General 300 powered by Coca-Cola race in Joliet, Illinois. The young Mexican is currently vying for the rookie of the year championship in Mexico’s NASCAR Toyota series where he is tied for the lead with three events remaining in the season. JC is no stranger to racing north of the border; he has successfully raced in several ARCA and NASCAR Late model events and participated in test sessions in tracks which include Michigan and Daytona. He will be making his Nationwide series debut with United Race Group (URG), the US affiliate for his NASCAR Mexico team FCV Racing, in a joint operation with Rick Ware Racing in the # 41 Chevy, sponsored by M-Marketing, VMP Nutrition, Miami Subs Grill, AMI brands and international music superstar, Pitbull / PlanetPit.com.(Blum PR)(9-14-2012)
