SR2 Motorsports, which fields two entries in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, made the announcement Monday that they signed Ryan Ellis to the team. Not only will he race, but will also serve as a testing driver within the organization. Starting this weekend at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Ellis will run the #24 Toyota Camry. He will have sponsorship backing from Superlite Cars. The number of races with SR2 Motorsports will depend on sponsorship coming to the team throughout the 2014 season. Ellis will be entered throughout the year in both the #00 and the #24 as the racing season moves forward. Ellis is no stranger to the SR2 Motorsports team, as he made five starts with them in 2013, debuting at Richmond International Raceway in the #24 Toyota in September.(SR2)
