Hamlin wins Pocono pole:

#11-Denny Hamlin won the pole for the Pocono 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway with a track record speed of 181.415mph for his 2nd pole of 2013 and 19th of his career. Hamlin has won three races from the pole out of 18 previous poles. The top three drivers were faster than the track record, set by #48-Johnson in August 2013 at 180.654mph.
#41-Busch is on the outside pole, followed by #2-Keselowski, #4-Harvick, #24-Gordon, #18-Busch, #22-Logano, #88-Earnhardt Jr., #55-Vickers, #99-Edwards, #3-Dillon and #14-Stewart.
Points leader #20-Kenseth didn’t get out of round 1 and will start 26th. Chase seeding leader, #48-Johnson failed to get out of round 2 and will start 20th.
Missing the race were: none, only 43 drivers entered, so none miss the race.
