The win also marked the second consecutive Sonoma victory for Michael Waltrip Racing’¦. #24-Jeff Gordon is the undisputed king of Sonoma, with five victories (1998-2000, ’04, ’06) and five pole positions (1998-99, ’01, ’04, ’05). Gordon also boasts 13 top-five finishes and 17 top-10 finishes – the most of any driver’¦. Two-time winners in Sonoma include Rusty Wallace (1990, ’96), Ernie Irvan (1992, ’94), Ricky Rudd (1989, 2002) and #14-Tony Stewart (2001, ’05)’¦.
