NASCAR issued a warning to #11-Denny Hamlin’s team for failing pre-race inspection four times last weekend at Darlington Raceway. It marks the second consecutive race the Joe Gibbs Racing team has received a warning. The team received a warning for being late to the inspection line at Bristol. The only other Sprint Cup team to receive a warning at Darlington was the team of Timmy Hill. The #62 team failed pre-qualifying inspection twice. NASCAR recently streamlined its warning structure. NASCAR’s Rule Book states that for every fourth warning a team receives in a season it will result in the loss of pit selection. Warnings can not be appealed. The new system began last month.(NBC Sports)(9-10-2015)
