Veteran team owner and crew chief, Richie Wauters is serving as the interim crew chief for the #81 Hattori Racing Enterprises (HRE) Toyota Tundra driven by Ryan Truex. Wauters who has his own super late model and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) team took a hiatus from his shop to help the small HRE team. Since Wauters teamed up with HRE at Kansas Speedway, Truex has had sixth place finish and a eighth place finish at Dover last weekend. Wauters will again be on the box for the running of the NC Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway Friday, May 20th. Richie Wauters: ‘Right now we have some things in the works for some truck (NCWTS) starts this season but until that materializes I wanted to help out the Hattori team (HRE).
