The Northern Kentucky Chapter of the Kentucky Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) and Mubea partnered to sponsor Garrett Smithley in this weekend’s Kentucky Speedway NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and NASCAR XFINITY Series races. Smithley will drive the #07 SS Green Light Chevy Silverado on Thursday night and the #0 JD Motorsports Chevy Camaro on Friday night. It will be his third NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start of the season. He sits 17th in NASCAR XFINITY Series driver points. The 2016 incoming KY FAME class includes 24 students from Northern Kentucky who were matched with 10 local manufacturing companies to develop highly desirable skills through work and study.
