What each remaining driver needs to do to move to the round of 12. #78-Truex, Jr and #4-Harvick have already clinched a spot. Any other driver can clinch with a win.
#2-Brad Keselowski – Would clinch on points with 12 Points and a new winner. If there is a repeat winner, he would clinch on points with 7 Points.
#18-Kyle Busch – Would clinch on points with 14 Points and a new winner. If there is a repeat winner, he would clinch on points with 9 Points.
#20-Matt Kenseth – Would clinch on points with 20 Points and a new winner. If there is a repeat winner, he would clinch on points with 15 Points.
#22-Joey Logano – Would clinch on points with 26 Points and a new winner. If there is a repeat winner, he would clinch on points with 21 Points.
#11-Denny Hamlin – Would clinch on points with 28 Points and a new winner. If there is a repeat winner, he would clinch on points with 23 Points.
#48-Jimmie Johnson – Would clinch on points with 29 Points and a new winner. If there is a repeat winner, he would clinch on points with 24 Points.
#24-Chase Elliott – Would clinch on points with 31 Points and a new winner. If there is a repeat winner, he would clinch on points with 26 Points.
#19-Carl Edwards – Would clinch on points with 31 Points and a new winner. If there is a repeat winner, he would clinch on points with 26 Points.
#41-Kurt Busch – Would clinch on points with 32 Points and a new winner. If there is a repeat winner, he would clinch on points with 27 Points.
#42-Kyle Larson – If there is a repeat winner, he would clinch on points with 37 Points. Could clinch on points with a new winner and help.
For the following, the only guaranteed clinch would be with a win. Each could clinch without a win, but would need varying levels of help: #1-Jamie McMurray, #3-Austin Dillon, #14-Tony Stewart, #34-Chris Buescher.
