The 28th annual Stocks For Tots holiday event and fundraiser will be held Tuesday, Dec. 13 at the NASCAR Technical Institute in Mooresville, N.C. The event which started in 1989 has raised more than $1 million and collected more than 60,000 toys to aid raising awareness for child abuse in North Carolina. Each year thousands of fans have attended the event where they can meet many of their favorite NASCAR drivers from the Sprint Cup, Xfinity, and Camping World Truck Series. NASCAR Hall of Famers ‘The King’ Richard Petty, Ned Jarrett, Bobby Allison, Rex White, and Dale Inman will be on hand along with road racer Elliott Forbes Robinson, Verizon Indy Car star Will Power, and rising stars Justin Alligaier and Austin Cindric. Current drivers David Ragan, Landon Cassill, Joe and John Hunter Nemechek, Kerry Earnhardt, Brandon McReynolds, Mike Bliss, Jared Irvan, will also be in attendance. Other Legends include former Charlotte Motor Speedway promoter Humpy Wheeler, Jeff Gordon’s championship crew chief and AmerCarna TV host Ray Evernham, former Cup crew chief Barry Dodson, Donnie Allison, Don Miller, Neil ‘Soapy’ Castles, ‘Tiger’ Tom Pistone, Bobby Dotter, Jerry Nadeau, and others. NHRA and IHRA Drag Racers will be represented by Doug Herbert, Greg Anderson, Jason Line and Buddy Martin.
