Allgaier fails post-race inspection UPDATE:

Justin Allgaier likely will be without crew chief Jason Burdett for the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship race next week after NASCAR found his car had an unattached brake cooling hose following the race Saturday at Phoenix. A NASCAR spokesman said it likely will be a minimum ‘L1 penalty, which is 10 points (Allgaier made the playoffs by 30 points) and a one-race suspension to the crew chief along with a $10,000 fine. NASCAR will expedite any appeals.
UPDATE: JR Motorsports named veteran car chief Billy Wilburn as crew chief of the #7 BRANDT Professional Agriculture team for this Saturday’s season finale at Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Speedway as driver Justin Allgaier vies for the NASCAR Xfinity Series title. Wilburn has served as car chief with the #7 team for the past four season.[More]
