From Wednesday’s NASCAR video teleconference, four crew chiefs going for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Championship at Homestead-Miami Speedway discuss their chances, driver and preparation for the race, Cole Pearn is the crew chief for Martin Truex Jr. Talk a little bit about your team’s accomplishments thus far and the opportunity this weekend to cap it off with the organization’s first-ever Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series championship. COLE PEARN: Yeah, we’ve had a tremendous year for sure. We kind of came in trying to do our best every week, and I think our season really shows the result of that effort. You know, ultimately the goal is to try and win as many races as you can, run as well as you can, and then hopefully have a good shot to make it to Homestead and have a chance to race for the championship.
