The 21-year old Smith held off his friend, Sunoco rookie Christian Eckes by a mere 0.318-second for the victory and his official berth into the upcoming 2020 series Playoffs. Smith took the lead from #18-Christian Eckes with one lap to go in the second overtime attempt. Eckes was followed by #15-Tanner Gray, #26-Tyler Ankrum, #38-Todd Gilliland, #23-Brett Moffitt, #4-Raphael Lessard, #19-Derek Kraus, #75-Parker Kligerman, and #24-David Gravel.
There were 17 lead changes among 13 drivers and 11 cautions for 51 yellow flag laps.
