Pole winner #4-Harvick chose pit stall 1, the first stall available [as do most pole sitters].
Outside pole winner #41-Busch. took pit stall 37, with an opening in front of it.
#78-Truex, Jr., who starts 3rd, took the 2nd stall.
The final pit stall was taken by #20-Jones, who starts 6th.

(4-28-2018) - Sad News – James Hylton: Former NASCAR driver James Hylton, the 1966 Rookie of the Year, was killed in a traffic accident Saturday, authorities said. He was 83. Hylton and his son, 61-year-old James Hylton Jr., died at the scene of the crash, which happened on Interstate 85 in Carnesville a little after 6 a.m., according to the Georgia State Patrol. - Ebullient Spencer Gallagher claims first NASCAR Xfinity victory at Talladega: Taking advantage of an overtime restart and a fuel shortage that hampered some of the race’s strongest cars, Spencer Gallagher grabbed the lead on the final lap and held on to win Saturday’s Sparks Energy 300 at Talladega Superspeedway. In claiming the first NASCAR Xfinity Series victory of his career, Gallagher crossed the finish line .152 seconds ahead of runner-up Brandon Jones.
