As Birmingham Business Journal first reported, NASCAR has proposed a three-million-square-foot business park at the 2.66-mile Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama.
A brochure for the proposed project shows three buildings ranging in size from 615,000 square feet to 1.3 million square feet.
It’s one of more than a dozen tracks across the country that NASCAR is targeting as it looks to develop extra land as a way to help rev up the engines of local economies.
