NASCAR to Look at Final Lap Incident with Cole Custer

NASCAR issued a statement Sunday evening that it will take a look at #41-Cole Custer’s actions on the final lap of Sunday’s Bank of America ROVAL 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

NASCAR is reviewing data, video and radio transmissions from the 41 car following its incident on the backstretch during the final lap. NASCAR will communicate the results of the review early this week. Any potential penalties would not affect the Round of 8 field. — NASCAR

Custer slowed on the backstretch during the final lap, letting several cars get around him and helping teammate #14-Chase Briscoe secure a spot in the Round of 8 by 2 points over #5-Kyle Larson.
