Tyler Reddick Reportedly Released Early from Contract: UPDATE

“Richard Childress Racing has agreed to release Tyler Reddick to drive for 23XI in 2023. With Kyle Busch coming to RCR next year, we believe it is in our mutual best interest to focus on building successful programs for the future. RCR and Tyler have enjoyed a great deal of success together, and everyone at RCR wishes him well.”

Original post: Lee Spencer reports that the final year on Tyler Reddick’s contract with Richard Childress Racing has been bought out by 23XI Racing, and that he will join the team a year earlier than previously announced.

Details regarding the buyout, as well as the status of 23XIRacing’s Kurt Busch, who has been out a number of weeks due to a concussion, are not yet clear.

Kyle Busch will be joining RCR in 2023, driving the #8, currently driven by Reddick.
