Chase Elliott & Daniel Suarez starting from the rear of the field at Las Vegas

#9-Chase Elliott and #99-Daniel Suarez will start 35th and 36th in Sunday’s South Point 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Both drivers will go to backup cars following separate incidents in Saturday practice.

In Group A, Elliott had a tire go down and slid up the track into the outside wall damaging the rear of the car.

In Group B, Suarez got loose off turn 2 and slid down into the inside wall, tearing up the front end of the car.
