Dirty Mo Media is kicking off 2026 with the announcement of several new shows joining an already powerful lineup that includes fan-favorites the Dale Jr. Download, Bless Your ‘Hardt, Door Bumper Clear and Actions Detrimental. One of those new shows, Sons & Daughters, was announced today alongside the release of a series preview on the show’s YouTube channel and DirtyMoMedia.com.
Sons & Daughters is a weekly podcast series hosted by acclaimed media personality Shannon Spake, featuring notable figures from sports, music and entertainment. Episodes of Sons & Daughters will be available on all major podcast platforms beginning March 4 with new episodes dropping every Wednesday.
“We are planning an ambitious year of new programming, new verticals and more opportunities to engage with the Dirty Mo community,” said Dirty Mo Media President and Executive Producer Mike Davis. “Much of this will roll out in the ensuing weeks, but it all starts with today’s announcement of Sons & Daughters, which we are incredibly excited about.”
Sons & Daughters will center on origin stories, life journeys and career trajectories, unpacking the relationships, events and circumstances that shape extraordinary men and women. The show has been in pre-production for several weeks, with championship basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski and ESPN sports journalist Marty Smith among the first guests.
“This is a deeply personal show, and Shannon is the absolute right person to lead it. Everyone knows her as the successful sports broadcaster in NBA, college athletics and NASCAR, but what many may not know is her own journey has been anything but easy. Her story is equally remarkable and relatable. Audiences can expect a great deal of vulnerability from both Shannon and her guests, and that’s exactly why Sons & Daughters will resonate.”
Spake currently serves as a reporter and host for NASCAR on TNT and the Charlotte Hornets on FanDuel Sports Network Southeast. She previously worked at FOX Sports as a host of NASCAR RaceDay and NASCAR Race Hub, and as a sideline reporter for the NFL on FOX, FOX College Hoops and FOX College Football. Prior to FOX, Spake spent several years at ESPN, contributing to SportsCenter and serving as a sideline reporter for SEC basketball and college football broadcasts.
“Everyone has an origin story, and so much of who we become is shaped long before the world knows our name,” said Spake, also an executive producer of the show. “This show is about honoring those stories – the families, the struggles, the defining moments – and having honest conversations that go deeper than the highlights. I’m incredibly grateful to Dirty Mo Media for trusting me with something this personal, and I can’t wait for people to hear these conversations.”
Additional new programming for Dirty Mo Media’s 2026 slate will be announced in the coming weeks.Follow or subscribe to Sons & Daughters on all podcast platforms, @sonsanddaughterspod on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and on YouTube.
