Kyle Larson will pilot the No. 88 Chevrolet for JR Motorsports in Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Darlington Raceway. Alex Bowman was originally scheduled for his first of two starts in 2026 (Nashville Superspeedway), but remains sidelined due to vertigo.
“We continue to wish Alex a speedy recovery as Kyle Larson will substitute in the No. 88 Chevrolet this weekend at Darlington,” JR Motorsports confirmed via social media.
Larson won last weekend’s O’Reilly race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, leading the final 47 laps.
