Chris Rice, CEO of Kaulig Racing, confirmed during a press conference on Friday that Tyrrell, winner of the inaugural season of RAM’s Race For The Seat reality show, had a one-year deal to drive the No. 14 RAM 1500 in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, and Friday’s event at Homestead-Miami Speedway would mark his final outing with the team.
Race For The Seat is expected to return for a second season to determine who will drive the No. 14 RAM 1500 in the NASCAR Truck Series, again, for 2027, while the Free Agent Program is confirmed to be returning next season, as well.
Mini Tyrrell had a one-year deal and won’t return to Kaulig Racing next year, Chris Rice confirms. … (me saying …. Obviously if they have, as expected, another Race For The Seat show, that seat is open for that winner).
