Cory Roper to pilot Drydene entry for Halmar Friesen Racing at Texas Motor Speedway

RelaDyne is excited to announce that Cory Roper and Halmar Friesen Racing (HFR) will partner with Drydene, its commercial and industrial brand, for the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race on Friday, May 1, at Texas Motor Speedway.

The race is part of the NASCAR tripleheader weekend at “The Great American Speedway.” On-track action begins Friday with NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series practice at 1:35 p.m. CT, followed by qualifying at 2:40 p.m. CT. The day concludes with the Truck Series race at 7 p.m. CT (TV: FS1; Radio: NASCAR Racing Network, SiriusXM).

“Our partnership with Cory Roper and Halmar Friesen Racing is an exciting extension of our commitment to performance and customer engagement,” said Mike Cooper, Chief Commercial Officer of RelaDyne. “Drydene is built on a legacy of hard work and innovation, delivering products that perform day in and day out. This partnership allows us to showcase that performance on a national stage while connecting with our customers, partners, and fans.”

“All of us at Halmar Friesen Racing are thrilled to partner with Drydene and Cory Roper for Texas,” said Stewart Friesen, co-owner of HFR and driver of the No. 52 truck. “Cory has been a longtime friend of our organization, and we’re excited to have him behind the wheel of our TRD Pro #62. With Drydene’s support, we believe this is a strong, competitive combination and a great opportunity for everyone involved.”

RelaDyne and Drydene are also using this sponsorship and other races this weekend to kick off #MayMeansMotorsports – a month-long celebration of the brand’s deep-rooted presence in racing. Drydene has a strong history in motorsports, including its longstanding partnership with Logan Schuchart and Shark Racing in the World of Outlaws, its recent non-wing sprint car sponsorship with Wesley Smith Racing, involvement with Petty Performance Racing at the Chili Bowl, and the newly announced entitlement of the Drydene Stockyard Stampede at Texas Motor Speedway during NASCAR weekend on April 30 and May 2. Through these partnerships, Drydene continues to align with performance, durability, and the hardworking teams and drivers who represent the brand both on and off the track.

As RelaDyne continues to expand the Drydene brand nationwide, partnerships like this reinforce its commitment to performance and reliability in the commercial and industrial space. RelaDyne is proud to bring that performance to life on the track through its partnership with Cory Roper and Halmar Friesen Racing on May 1.
