AM Racing closes NASCAR operations

Nothing has been heard from the AM Racing (AMR) NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (NOAPS) team since withdrawing from the Rockingham race at the end  of March, but Motorsport.com can now confirm that the team has formally ceased operations.

Per our Senior NASCAR correspondent Matt Weaver, Vice President of Competition Matthew Lucas informed employees that they were being released from their duties, telling them that he made a concerted effort to stabilize the race team without success.
