Parker Kligerman will return to Kaulig Racing’s No. 25 Ram 1500 at Michigan International Speedway on June 6 after finishing 11th in his Ram Free Agent Program debut May 1 at Texas Motor Speedway.
Kligerman had not raced since last summer, but he adapted quickly to the Texas high banks.
“I was a little nervous at first, but after the first lap it really was like riding a bicycle,” he said. “We really wanted a top-10 finish and fell just one spot short, but I think we can run in the top 10 at Michigan. Even falling a bit short, getting back behind the wheel of a Ram 1500 with Kaulig Racing through the Free Agent program was so much fun at Texas.”
Kligerman works as a color commentator for NASCAR on The CW and as studio talent for NASCAR on TNT Sports. He also co-hosts the motorsports podcast “The Money Lap” with Landon Cassill and previously co-hosted the automotive television series “Proving Grounds.”
“I had a great time working with the entire Kaulig Racing team, and I hope I helped their program improve,” he said. “Ram has made a tremendous investment in NASCAR, and I felt honored to be part of it.”
Kligerman has built a strong racing résumé since 2013. He has competed in all three of NASCAR’s national series and earned multiple top-five and top-10 finishes. He has three career starts at Michigan in the Xfinity Series and Truck Series. In 2012, he practiced and qualified the No. 22 Dodge in relief of Sam Hornish Jr. for Penske Racing but did not start the race.
He began his career in Penske’s driver development program and made his ARCA debut in 2008. As a rookie in 2009, he won nine races and finished second in the championship for Cunningham Motorsports.
In the Truck Series, he owns three wins — including victories at Talladega in 2012 and 2017 and a dominant win at Mid-Ohio in 2022 — along with 53 top-10 finishes in 125 starts. He has made 12 career starts across all three series at Michigan.
The No. 25 Ram 1500 serves as the dedicated entry for Ram’s Free Agent Driver Program, which puts a different driver in the seat each weekend. Ram launched the program as part of its return to the Truck Series in 2026 after a 13-year absence. The initiative features veteran stars, rising talents, road racers and other available drivers.
NASCAR Hall of Famer Tony Stewart opened the program by driving the No. 25 at Daytona. Participants have included AJ Allmendinger, Ty Dillon, Colin Braun, Corey LaJoie and Carson Ferguson. Clint Bowyer will race at 5 p.m. EDT today at Dover Motor Speedway and Jamie McMurray will drive in the inaugural race at Naval Base Coronado in San Diego next month.
Ram and Kaulig Racing created the program to generate buzz, deliver fresh storylines each week, and give opportunities to proven drivers seeking occasional seat time as well as up-and-coming talent.
Kligerman joins Kaulig’s five-truck lineup, which includes full-time drivers Corey LaJoie in the No. 10, Brenden Queen in the No. 12, “Mini” Tyrrell in the No. 14 and Justin Haley in the No. 16.
Entrepreneur Matt Kaulig founded Kaulig Racing in 2016. The team grew rapidly from a single-car O’Reilly Auto Parts Series entry into a multi-series organization with 27 victories in that series. Kaulig entered the NASCAR Cup Series in 2020 and won twice with driver AJ Allmendinger. The team paused its O’Reilly Auto Parts Series program and expanded into the Truck Series in 2026 with an ambitious five-truck lineup powered by Ram.
FS1 and the NASCAR Network will broadcast the Michigan race at 1:30 p.m. EDT Saturday, June 6.
