Morgen Baird joins Team Reaume Michigan International Speedway

Morgen Baird will return to Michigan International Speedway with Team Reaume in the No. 2 Ford F-150, making another start at his home track.

Baird is a Michigan-born stock car driver who developed through grassroots racing, earning multiple championships in go-karts and mini-cup competition before being named Rookie of the Year in dwarf cars. He made his ARCA Menards Series debut at Michigan International Speedway in 2016 and has since competed part-time in ARCA as well as select NASCAR Xfinity and Truck Series events, continuing his development with Team Reaume. His prior experience in Michigan adds valuable familiarity as he continues building seat time in national-level competition.

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to race at Michigan with Team Reaume and represent Alro Steel,” said Baird. “Having raced here before, I understand how fast and demanding this place is, and I’m looking forward to applying everything I’ve learned since my last start here. I appreciate everyone at Team Reaume and Alro Steel for the opportunity and continued support.”

Alro Steel, a long-standing distributor of metals, industrial supplies, and plastics across the United States, will serve as a primary partner on the No. 2 entry for the Michigan weekend. The partnership continues its presence in NASCAR competition while supporting driver development within the national series platform.

Michigan International Speedway, a two-mile oval known for its wide racing surface and high speeds, remains one of the most challenging intermediate tracks on the NASCAR schedule, placing a strong emphasis on momentum, consistency, and precision over long runs.

“Morgen continues to show steady improvement every time he gets in the car,” said Team Reaume owner Josh Reaume. “Michigan is a high-speed, high-commitment track, and it’s a strong opportunity for him to continue gaining experience. We’re proud to have Alro Steel with us as we keep building this program.”

Baird’s career has progressed through grassroots and national-level racing, beginning in go-karts and mini-cup competition before advancing into dwarf cars, where he earned Rookie of the Year honors and multiple feature wins. That success led to ARCA Menards Series competition and select NASCAR national series opportunities, where he continues to gain experience on both ovals and road courses while adapting to increasingly competitive equipment.
