Post-race inspection complete, Denny Hamlin’s Pocono win is official

Post-race inspection is complete following the 2026 The Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway.

There were no issues for  #11-Denny Hamlin. He is officially the winner of the race.

Six cars are returning to the R&D Center for further inspection: #5-Kyle Larson (Chevrolet), #7-Daniel Suarez (Chevrolet), #12-Ryan Blaney (Ford), #17-Chris Buescher (Ford), #42-John Hunter Nemechek (Toyota), and #45-Tyler Reddick (Toyota).

Hamlin started from the pole and led 28 laps on the day. He took the lead for the final time with four laps remaining after #20-Christopher Bell tried to stretch the race on fuel but was unsuccessful. It is the first time in his career that Hamlin has won three consecutive races.

The Cup Series now heads to the San Diego street course race at Naval Base Coronado.
