#22-Joey Logano won the Hollywood Casino 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway. The win is his 3rd win of the year, 3rd at Kansas, and 26th career win.
The win locks him into the Championship race at Phoenix.
#4-Harvick finished 2nd followed by #88-Bowman, #2-Keselowski, #18-Busch, pole sitter #9-Elliott, #12-Blaney, #24-Byron, #19-Truex, Jr., and #95-Bell.
Logano took the lead on the final pit stops with 45 laps remaining and held off a hard charging Harvick for the remainder of the race.
A couple playoff drivers had issues:
#11-Hamlin led 58 laps on the day, but hit the wall with just under 100 laps remaining and had to pit under green. He fell as low as 29th but was able to work his way back to 15th.
#1-Busch lost an engine with 70 laps remaining. He finished 38th.
Stage 1 was won by #9-Elliott. Stage 2 was won by #11-Hamlin.
There were 17 lead changes among 11 drivers and 6 cautions for 31 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 138.329mph.
