#67-Corey Heim won the Anduril 250 Race the Base NASCAR Cup Series race at Naval Base Coronado. The win is his first Cup win in his 13th career start.
#23-Bubba Wallace finished 2nd followed by #5-Kyle Larson, #38-Zane Smith, #16-A.J. Allmendinger, #17-Chris Buescher, #1-Ross Chastain, #35-Riley Herbst, #12-Ryan Blaney, and #71-Michael McDowell.
After battling him for several laps, Heim took the lead from #45-Tyler Reddick with two laps remaining. Reddick then had a tire go down and fell off the pace. Heim won by more than 10 seconds.
Pole sitter #97-Shane van Gisbergen was involved in an accident just before the midway point of the race and could not continue. He finished 38th.
#20-Christopher Bell, recovering from a broken wrist, got out of the car and was replaced by Brent Crews on lap 13. However, Crews had a gearbox issue and finished 39th.
There was a red flag on lap 32 for track cleanup and wall repair following an accident
Stage 1 was won by #12-Ryan Blaney. Stage 2 was won by #60-Ryan Preece.

Race updates:
Checkered flag and first career win for Corey Heim. Wallace finishes second after losing two laps early in the race.
White flag for Heim. Wallace passes Larson for second, but is 10 seconds back.
Lap 74 – With just two laps remaining, Heim now has the lead by .6 second. Larson is 8 seconds back. Then Wallace Allmendinger Herbst Smith Buescher Blaney and Chastain. Reedick then has a tire go down and it’s Heim’s race to lose if it stays green.
Lap 73 – Reddick by .4 second with three to go. Reddick gets loose in turn two. Heim battles for the lead and takes it.
Lap 72 – Heim continue to hang with Reddick. Now third place Larson is 9 seconds back.
Lap 71 – Heim trails Reddick by .46 second at the line. Wallace continues to hold third, but 7.5 seconds back. Larson then takes third from Wallace.
Lap 70 – Six lap remaining. Reddick and Heim staying steady. Wallace has fallen 6.4 seconds back. Allmendinger gets around Herbst for fifth.
Lap 68 – Eight to go. Reddick over Heim by .7 second. Then Wallace Larson Herbst Allmendinger Smith Buescher McDowell and Chastain.
Lap 66 – Ten laps remaining. Reddick leads Heim by .57 second. Wallace is 2.1 second back.
Lap 65 – Reddick takes the lead from Hocevar. Hocevar spins just before the start finish. Heim now second with Wallace third, then Larson and Herbst. All 23XI drivers in the top 5. Johnson spins in turn 6 but continues.

Lap 33 – Red flag was just under 10 minutes. Yellow back out and only a few drivers hit pit road. Herbst Larson Suarez Smith Logano Heim Reddick Byron Nemechek Hocevar the top 10. Hill to the DVP area. He said he locked up the rear brakes before the accident.
Lap 32 – CAUTION out for an accident on the restart. SVG Zilisch Gibbs Blaney Hill McDowell Suarez involved. Wallace will get the free pass and back on the lead lap. SVG will head to the garage. Red flag will come out for track cleanup and wall repair. Herbst will be the leader over Larson.
Lap 32 – Back to green. Zilisch leads Hill SVG Herbst Gibbs Larson Suarez Smith McDowell Logano.
Lap 31 – Pit road is open. Several driver come in, including Preece, Buescher, Chastain Briscoe Blaney Allmendinger Gilliland Hamlin.
Lap 30 – CAUTION is out. Crews, in the #20, is stopped on track. Gearbox issue. Wallace will be the free pass but still a lap down.
Lap 30 – Zilisch continues to lead. He’s 5.7 seconds ahead of Preece. Hill is still third. SVG up to fourth, 10 seconds back.
Lap 27 – Keselowski gets into the wall. Possible tire down but he continues.
Lap 26 – The race is one-third complete. Zilisch leads Preece. Third place Hill is 3 seconds back with fourth place Chastain 11 seconds back. Buescher is fifth, SVG is back to 6th.
Lap 23 – SVG gets into Buescher and spins him. Many drivers have to slow but no caution.
Lap 23 – Zilisch takes the lead. Preece back to second. Then Hill Chastain and Buescher.
Lap 23 – Green flag for the start of the second stage. Preece Zilisch Chastain Hill Crews Buescher SVG McDowell Smith Herbst the top 10. Wallace, two laps down, is the only driver not on the lead lap.
Lap 22 – Pit road is open. A majority of the field comes in. Preece Zilisch and Chastain near the front that stay out. Off pit road: Gibbs Blaney Larson Allmendinger Hocevar Logano Bowman Gilliland Byron.
Lap 21 – Stage one is complete. Blaney is the winner. The first 20 laps took just over 57 minutes
Lap 20 – Final lap in stage one. Blaney over Preece Larson Gibbs Allmendinger Gilliland Hocevar Logano Zilisch Byron. Wallace will be held two laps for the loss of the wheel.
Lap 19 – Two laps remaining in stage 2. Pit road is closed. Blaney leads Larson Preece. During the lap the CAUTION comes out as Wallace lost a wheel. He was on his way back to pit road at the time. Stenhouse will be the free pass.
Lap 18 – SVG Buescher Wallace pit for the first time today.
Lap 17 – Blaney leads while SVG second, then Larson Preece and Buescher. Wallace, on old tires, has fallen to 9th.
Lap 16 – On fresh tires, Blaney has moved up to third at the start finish line and takes the lead on the lap. Preece also coming to the front.
Lap 15 – Back to green with six laps remaining in stage 1: SVG Buescher Wallace McDowell Smith Herbst Briscoe Blaney Preece and Larson.
Lap 14 – Pit road is open. Quickie yellow. A handful of drivers come in but the leaders stay out.
Lap 13 – Bell gets out of is car and is replace by Brent Crews.
Lap 13 – Under caution: SVG Buescher Wallace McDowell Smith Herbst Hill Keselowski Briscoe and Blaney
Lap 12 – SVG takes the lead and Buescher to second with Wallace sliding back to third. Stenhouse Jr slows and then stops on track and the CAUTION has to come out. No free pass.
Lap 11 – Blaney pits and Wallace takes the lead. Many others continue pitting.
Lap 10 – Wallace continues to gain, now 1.9 second back. Some green flag pit stops continue, including Logano and Larson.
Lap 9 – Wallace is up to second, 3.5 seconds behind Blaney. SVG remains third. Elliott comes to pit road and then stalls the car before getting the car refired.
Lap 7 – At the line, Blaney still leads. Then Preece SVG McDowell and Wallace. During the lap, SVG moves back to second.
Lap 6 – Johnson has wrecked in the chicane but is able to continue and head to the pits. No caution.
4:38pm/et – NASCAR says that 10:45pm/et would be the adverse conditions time that the race needs to end. That should not be an issue.
Lap 4 – Blaney takes the lead and Preece to second while SVG falls to third. SVG complaining about a lack of rear grip.
Lap 3 – Hocevar gets the lead from SVG for part of the lap but SVG takes it back. At the line Blaney moves to second and Preece to third.
Lap 2 – ADillon has spun but gets the car refired and continues on. No caution.
Lap 2 – SVG leads the first lap over Hocevar Blaney Smith and Suarez.

#77-Carson Hocevar put down a fast lap in second (90.704 mph). #12-Ryan Blaney will start third (90.634 mph), with Front Row Motorsports drivers #38-Zane Smith (90.405 mph) and #34-Todd Gilliland (90.402 mph) round out the top five.
