The Terry Labonte Slim Jim BGN team will carry the #44 in 1999. Driving the #44 Chevy will be son Justin(not Jason) for 5 races, to keep his rookie status for 2000, Bobby Labonte will run around 5 and Terry will run the remainder of the races.(10-26-98)

- Slim Jim Meat Snacks has announced a multi-year BGN sponsorship agreement with Labonte Racing, Inc., that will result in Slim Jim Chevrolets being entered in all the races on the 1999 schedule with brothers Terry Labonte and Bobby Labonte and Terry's son Justin Labonte
