#1-Carson Kvapil held off a hard-charging #7-Justin Allgaier to win the Pennzoil 250 O’Reilly Auto Parts Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It’s his first-career victory, coming on the heels of five runner-up finishes.
Kvapil led the final 21 laps en route to victory. #9-Ross Chastain placed third, with #88-Chase Elliott placing fourth. JR Motorsports swept the top four positions, the first time any organization has accomplished that feat in series history. #18-William Sawalich rounded out the top five.
#19-Brent Crews, #17-Corey Day, #00-Sheldon Creed, #20-Brandon Jones and #21-Austin Hill filled the rest of the top 10.
#51-Jeremy Clements won Stage 1 but had an issue late in the race and finished three laps down in 37th. #32-Rajah Caruth won the second stage before taking the checkered flag in 22nd spot.
There were 10 lead changes among eight drivers and three cautions for 13 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 128.940 mph.
