Matt DiBenedetto Wins At Talladega, His First Career NASCAR National Series Win: It took a lot of last lap gumption on the Talladega (Ala.) #25-Matt DiBenedetto won the Chevy Silverado 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. The win is his first at Talladega, his first of the season, and the first of his career. The race went into overtime, setting up a dramatic finish. On the final lap, the lead swapped hands numerous times before a wreck broke out heading toward the finish line. The caution fell, freezing the field. #25-DiBenedetto was pushed below the yellow line, while #32-Bret Holmes rode the high lane. It appeared Holmes narrowly beat DiBenedetto to the line, but NASCAR reviewed video at the time of caution, declaring DiBenedetto the winner.
