Race Rundown

#42-Carson Hocevar won the Worldwide Express 250 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Richmond Raceway on Saturday night after a pass over #98-Ty Majeski just three laps from the finish. The win was his third of the season, first at Richmond, and the third of his career.
#98-Majeski started from the pole, won the opening stages, and dominated the race for 168 of the 250 laps. A pit road penalty following stage 2 sent him to the rear of the field. He made up the lost positions and returned to the lead on lap 210.
Hocevar, along with the majority of the lead lap trucks, made pitstops under green for tires in the closing laps. Majeski stayed on track. Despite lapped trucks coming into play on a few occasions, the fresher tires for Hocevar made the difference.
#38-Zane Smith was third, followed by #35-Jake Garcia, #51-Matt Mills, #11-Corey Heim, #88-Matt Crafton, #2-Nick Sanchez, #23-Grant Enfinger, and #1-William Sawalich in the top-10.
Sixth place finisher #11-Corey Heim won the regular season championship.
#88-Matt Crafton finished seventh and earned the final playoff spot.
Entering the next race at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park, the 10 playoff drivers are: #11-Heim, #38- Smith, #98-Majeski, #99-Rhodes, #23-Enfinger, #19-Eckes, #42-Hocevar, #25-DiBenedetto, #2-Sanchez, and #88-Crafton.
There were nine lead changes among four drivers and four cautions for 27 yellow flag laps.
