(Photo by Sean Gardner/Getty Images) | Getty Images#11-Corey Heim started last in the field after a tire issue in practice caused damage to his race truck, but persevered to dominate and win the Kubota Tractor 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Kansas Speedway Friday night. The win was his sixth of the season, second at Kansas, and the 11thTruck Series win of his career.
Pole-sitter #98-Ty Majeski was on his way to the win, but ran out of gas with just one lap remaining, handing the lead back to #11-Heim, who led a race high 64 laps. Majeski made a pitstop on lap 79 of the 134 under yellow. Heim pit during a green flag cycle of stops, with his last stop falling on lap 107. The strategy made the difference on the final lap.
#38-Layne Riggs, who won the previous two truck races, finished second. #19-Christian Eckes, #45-Kaden Honeycutt, #25-Dawson Sutton, #15-Tanner Gray, #71-Rajah Caruth, #41-Bayley Currey, #9-Grant Enfinger, and #7-Connor Mosack filled out the top-10. #25-Sutton notched his first career top-10 after replacing Ty Dillon in the Rackley Chevrolet. #15-Gray capped his night with a sixth place finish, just hours after claiming the win in the ARCA Series race at Kansas.
#98-Majeski wasn’t the only driver to run out of fuel on the last lap. His ThorSport Racing teammate, defending champion #99-Ben Rhodes also saw his tank run empty. He ended the race 22nd and fell short of the next round of the playoffs, the Round of 8. #43-Daniel Dye also missed the cut.

Lap 134: Heim wins after the last lap fuel issue for Majeski. Riggs, Eckes, Honeycutt, Sutton, Tanner Gray, Caruth, Currey, Enfinger and Mosack the top-10.
Lap 133: Last lap and Majeski runs out of gas. Heim to the lead. Rhodes also out of fuel, will miss the playoffs.
Lap 129: Alan truck smoking with damage after contact with the wall, makes it to pitroad. Majeski maintains the lead. Heim, Riggs, Honecutt, Rhodes the top-5. Enfinger is 11th, 6 points in over Rhodes for the final playoff spot.
Lap 118: With less than 20 to go, Rhodes would get the final transfer spot over Enfinger. Dye, who is running 28th, will be out.
Lap 109: Lead cycles back to Majeski, who pit on lap 79 while the leaders stayed out under yellow.
