#18-Tyler Ankrum stretched his fuel and won the Black’s Tire 200 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series race at Rockingham Speedway. The race was the first for the Truck Series at Rockingham since 2013. It marked Ankrum’s first win of the season, first at Rockingham, and the second of his career. He last visited victory lane in 2019 at Kentucky Speedway.
Pole-sitter #13-Jake Garcia led 43 laps and finished second.

#34-Layne Riggs led 24 laps early in the race and won both opening stages. He finished 11th after surrendering the third position in order to take on more fuel in the closing laps.
#11-Heim, who finished eighth, was leading on lap 172 when he had to relinquish the top spot. He paced the field for a race-high 52 laps but needed to stop for tires and fuel in order to make the distance. His TRICON teammate #17-Ruggiero also pit, cycling the lead to Ankrum.
With two laps to go #38-Chandler Smith, running second, ran out of fuel. It appeared on the last lap that Ankrum did as well as he slowed considerably, but he circled around the historic track one more time to get the checkered flag and a check for $50,000, winning the final of three races in the Triple Truck Challenge.
There were 11 lead changes among nine drivers and 11 cautions for 33 yellow flag laps. There were also two red flag periods, lasting just over 14 minutes collectively. The first red flag was for repairs to the wall after #98-Ty Majeski made hard contact after a spin. The second was for cleanup following a multi-truck wreck involving #52-Stewart Friesen, #15-Tanner Gray, and #42-Matt Mills.
The average speed of the race was: 102.904mph.
