#16-AJ Allmendinger won a rain-soaked Drive for the Cure 250 NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The win is his second win of the year, second at Charlotte, and fifth career win.
Allmendinger got the lead following a restart with two laps to go as then leader #98-Chase Briscoe spun. Pole-sitter #9-Noah Gragson finished 2nd followed by #8-Daniel Hemric, #36-Alex Labbe, #10-Ross Chastain, #22-Austin Cindric, #17-Cody Ware, #07-Jade Buford, #1-Michael Annett, and #19-Brandon Jones.
The drivers advancing to the Round of 8: #98- Briscoe, #22-Cindric, #7-Allgaier, #11-Justin Haley, #19-Jones, #10-Chastain, and #39-Ryan Sieg.
