#9-Noah Gragson got redemption at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Saturday, after dominating the previous three races at the track and having no wins to show for it. Gragson led a race-high 127 laps en route to his eighth victory in 2022.
#54-Ty Gibbs raced up to second on a late-race restart. #16-AJ Allmendinger finished third, with #11-Daniel Hemric and #1-Sam Mayer rounding out the top five.
Polesitter #18-Trevor Bayne finished sixth, as #26-Chandler Smith, #98-Riley Herbst, #21-Austin Hill and #7-Justin Allgaier made up the top 10.
Gragson won both stages, putting his total to 16 on the season. That’s the second most for any driver in a single season since stages were implemented in 2017 (Christopher Bell had 22 in 2019).
There were 13 lead changes among seven drivers and four cautions for 24 yellow flag laps.
