Just following the conclusion of the second stage in Saturday’s Xfinity Series Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway, Mother Nature put a stop the Xfinity Series race. #9-Noah Gragson was out front at the time, awarding him the win, his fifth of the season.
#7-Justin Allgaier finished second, which gave JR Motorsports the top two spots. #54-Ty Gibbs led a race-high 66 laps and finished third. Polesitter #19-Brandon Jones placed fourth with #48-Ross Chastain rounding out the top five.
#16-AJ Allmendinger placed sixth, as #8-Sam Mayer, #18-Sammy Smith, #1-Sam Mayer and #07-Brett Moffitt made up the rest of the top 10.
Gibbs won the opening stage, his fifth stage victory of the season. Gragson won the second stage, and now has 13 stage wins on the season.
There were six lead changes among four drivers and four cautions for 18 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was 113.687 mph.
