Running his lone Xfinity Series race of the season, #19-Denny Hamlin won the Sport Clips Haircuts VFW Help A Hero 200 at Darlington Raceway. The victory is Hamlin’s 18 of his career, with six of those coming at Darlington.
#21-Austin Hill lost the lead on an overtime restart and finished second. #20-John Hunter Nemechek led a race-high 99 laps from the pole and won both stages to finish third. #00-Cole Custer and #8-Josh Berry rounded out the top five.
#98-Riley Herbst had a solid points day and finished sixth. #7-Justin Allgaier, #2-Sheldon Creed, #10-Kyle Busch and #11-Daniel Hemric completed the top 10.
There were 15 lead changes among five drivers and seven cautions for 34 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was 106.826 mph.
