Ryan Truex wins his first NASCAR national touring race at Dover: Of all the places for Ryan Truex to absolutely turn in a career day, the 31-year-old led a dominating 124 of the 200 laps at his hometown Dover (Del.) Motor Speedway. In dominating fashion, #19-Ryan Truex won the Xfinity Series’ A-Game 200 at Dover Motor Speedway. It’s the first win of Truex’s NASCAR career in 188 national touring series starts. Truex led a race-high 124 laps and swept all three stages.
#8-Josh Berry finished second, continuing his strong string of Dover performances with three top-two finishes in as many starts. #7-Justin Allgaier placed third, as #21-Austin Hill and #20-John Hunter Nemechek rounded out the top five.
#18-Sammy Smith placed sixth, with #00-Cole Custer winning the $100,000 Dash 4 Cash bonus in seventh. #9-Brandon Jones, #1-Sam Mayer and #11-Daniel Hemric completed the top 10.
There were 11 lead changes among five drivers and six cautions for 33 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was 107.191 mph.
