Chandler Smith scores second consecutive win at Richmond Raceway: Chandler Smith led a Joe Gibbs Racing sweep at Richmond (Va.) For the second straight year, #81-Chandler Smith won the ToyotaCare 250 Xfinity Series race at Richmond Raceway. This is his second win of the season — and second at Richmond.
#20-Aric Almirola won both stages and finished second in his third start since returning to Joe Gibbs Racing. #19-Taylor Gray finished third in his series debut. #26-Corey Heim finished fourth, making it just the second time in history that Toyota swept the top four positions (Dover, 2012). Rookie #2-Jesse Love rounded out the top five.
#88-Bubba Pollard was the highest finishing JR Motorsports driver in sixth while making his series debut. #48-Parker Kligerman, #21-Austin Hill, #8-Sammy Smith and #00-Custer complete the top 10.
There were 14 lead changes among seven drivers and six cautions for 51 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 81.179 mph.

#8-Sammy Smith stalled his car leaving pit road for pace laps. He needed a push from a wrecker but was able to get his starting position back for the green flag.

Pit Stall Selections

For the first time in his career, #31-Parker Retzlaff has won a pole in the Xfinity Series. It’s also the first pole for Jordan Anderson Racing. Retzlaff’s lap of 120.428 mph at Richmond Raceway was nearly a tenth of a second faster than second place.
#9-Brandon Jones earned his best start with JR Motorsports in second (119.915 mph). #00-Cole Custer will take the green flag from third position (119.909 mph) with #81-Chandler Smith (119.888 mph) and #7-Justin Allgaier (119.623 mph) rounding out the top five.
#26-Corey Heim, #16-AJ Allmendinger, #2-Jesse Love, #48-Parker Kligerman and #20-Aric Almirola compleete the top 10.
All 38 cars qualified for the show. #35-Joey Gase didn’t run a lap after spinning in practice.
