Getting redemption from earlier this season at Atlanta, #2-Jesse Love stretched his fuel tank to win the Ag-Pro 300 Xfinity Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. This is Love’s first career win in nine starts.#98-Riley Herbst made a spirited rally in overtime to finish runner-up, his best finish of the season. #5-Anthony Alfredo led the charge for the underfunded teams, which also saw #42-Leland Honeyman and #44-Brennan Poole crack the top five.
#18-Sheldon Creed, #45-Caesar Bacarella, #38-Matt DiBenedetto, #27-Jeb Burton and #00-Cole Custer round out the top 10.
Richard Childress Racing swept all three stages. Love earned his series-high fourth stage victory in the opening stage and #21-Austin Hill, who led a race-high 41 laps, won the second stage.
There were 34 lead changes among 16 drivers and six cautions for 28 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 131.323 mph.

For the third straight Xfinity Series race at Talladega Superspeedway, #21-Austin Hill will lead the field to the green flag of Saturday’s Ag-Pro 300. Hill’s lap of 181.629 mph was more than a tenth of a second quicker than his Richard Childress Racing teammate #2-Jesse Love (181.120 mph) for the top spot.
#48-Parker Kligerman earned his best starting spot of the season in third (180.693 mph). #00-Cole Custer will start fourth (180.169 mph) with #8-Sammy Smith rounding out the top five (180.054 mph).
#20-Ryan Truex, #81-Chandler Smith, #98-Riley Herbst, #11-Josh Williams and #18-Sheldon Creed complete the top 10 starting spots. Just outside the top 10, #07-Patrick Emerling earned the best starting position of his career in 12th. #6-Garrett Smithley had his time disallowed for his roof hatch not being sealed.
