In dominant fashion, #21-Austin Hill won the Bennett Transportation & Logistics 250 Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Hill has won five of the last six races at Atlanta, holding the most wins in track history. By leading 146 of 163 laps, Hill surpassed Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Dale Earnhardt as the driver with the most laps led at drafting style tracks (734). It’s his eighth win at a drafting track, tied with Earnhardt Jr. and Tony Stewart for the most in series history.
#7-Justin Allgaier charged to second on the final lap, passing #19-Aric Almirola on the frontstretch. #8-Sammy Smith and #48-Nick Sanchez (first top five finish) rounded out the top five.
#27-Jeb Burton finished sixth, with 10-Daniel Dye, #70-Leland Honeyman, #18-William Sawalich and #25-Harrison Burton completing the top 10. Burton, in his return to the Xfinity Series, is the only driver to have top 10s in the opening two races of 2025.
There were 11 lead changes among six drivers and eight cautions for 49 yellow flag laps.
The average speed of the race was: 106.590 mph.

Lap 163: #21-Hill races back to the line and wins for the fifth time in the last six Atlanta races. #7-Allgaier, #19-Almirola, #8-Smith, #48-Sanchez, #27-Burton, #10-Dye, #70-Honeyman, #18-Sawalich and #25-Burton are the unofficial top 10.
Lap 162: #21-Hill and #19-Almirola are side-by-side for the lead at the white flag. #4-Retzlaff gets turned on the backstretch, collecting multiple cars.
Lap 160: #7-Allgaier and #8-Smith get connected on the bottom lane, pushing Allgaier to the lead. #21-Hill gets back to the outside of Allgaier and leads at the line.
Lap 154: #8-Smith gets the foam off his grille by getting close to the bumper of #7-Allgaier under caution.

Lap 5: #26-Thompson got loose and pancaked the wall off Turn 2. #51-Clements gets into the rear of #27-Burton who was checking up to miss Thompson and got full sideways.
Lap 4: #31-Mayer edges ahead for the lead with a shove from #39-Sieg. #16-Eckes and #8-Smith are lined up on the bottom.
Lap 1: #2-Love got a great start from the front row and leads the opening lap from the pole. #11-Williams got shuffled to the middle lane, dropping outside the top 10 from a third starting position.

For the third straight Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway, #2-Jesse Love won the pole for Saturday’s Bennett Transportation & Logistics 250 (174.724 mph). Love becomes the fifth driver in series history to win three poles in their first three starts at the same track.
Richard Childress Racing continued its qualifying dominance at superspeedways by sweeping the front row, with four-time Atlanta winner #21-Austin Hill clocking in second (174.378 mph). #11-Josh Williams will start from a career best third position (173.684 mph). #7-Justin Allgaier (173.652 mph) and #41-Sam Mayer (173.619 mph) round out the top five.
#54-Taylor Gray, #20-Brandon Jones, #1-Carson Kvapil, #16-Christian Eckes and #88-Connor Zilisch complete the top 10.
All 38 cars qualified for the race.

  • 2025 is the 44th season of the NASCAR Xfinity Series (1982-2025) and this weekend marks the 38th Xfinity Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
  • The stage end laps for this weekend’s race are 45, 90, 163. Last year, they were 40, 80, 163.
  • Jesse Love’s 300 laps led on drafting tracks is the most all-time through seven starts, his teammate Austin Hill ranks second with 208.
  • Jesse Love won the pole for both races at Atlanta in 2024, while teammate Austin Hill won both races.

Goodyear Tire Notes: Being on 15-inch bead diameter tires, NASCAR Xfinity and Craftsman Truck Series teams will run a different tire set-up than those in the Cup Series at Atlanta this weekend . . . this is the same tire set-up these teams have run at Atlanta since the beginning of 2022 . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, Xfinity and Truck teams are required to run liners in all four tire positions at Atlanta . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
