Update to the earlier story I posted where I said that the #9 Melling Ford would not be sponsored by Pierry Industries anymore in 1997: Pierry Manufacturing and Delta Faucets have both signed associate sponsorship deals with Melling Racing for the upcoming Brickyard 400 to be held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Saturday, 8-2-97. As of this point, the Melling team is currently working on plans to attend five more Winston Cup races at Indianapolis, Michigan, Charlotte, Phoenix, and Atlanta.
