Darrell Waltrip plans on making 1999 his final year as a driver in the Cup series. He is in the process of selling his team and hopes to drive for another team owner for the rest of 1998 and 1999 with 1999 serving as a Farewell tour, similar to the Richard Petty tour of 1992.
