Brett Bodine suffered from heat exhaustion and dehydration after the blower in his car went out early in the race. He was taken to the care center, where he received oxygen and fluids. He is expected to fully recover and was replaced in the #11 Ford by Kenny Wallace, whose car was wrecked early in the race(actually blew a motor). Wallace brought the #11 car in with a 26th-place finish.
