They expect to make an announcement on future plans at Charlotte in October.(RPM2Nite/WC Scene)(9-11-98) – According to a source close to the team, Matt Kenseth and owner/crewchief Robbie Reiser will return full time to the BGN series in ’99, but this time with DeWalt Tools sponsorship. The full details of the new sponsorship are expected to be released during the BGN/WC race weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The new deal also includes up to five Winston Cup starts next season, and the team will stay with Chevrolet cars and engines. One persistent rumor making the garage rounds was that a second Wood Brothers’ team was going to be formed with Kenseth as the driver and Jack Roush as a major participant. That no longer is the case.
