Buckshot Racing has announced its addition to the 1999 Nascar Busch Grand National Series (BGN) line-up. Keebler Company has signed an agreement with Buckshot Racing to act as the primary sponsor for the #00 Buckshot Racing Pontiac which will run the entire BGN schedule in 1999. Keebler will showcase its Sunshine Biscuits brand, Cheez-It Baked Snack Crackers, in this new and exciting paint scheme. Larry Pearson, 1986 and 1987 BGN Champion, and Winston Cup driver has joined Buckshot Racing as the driver of the car. Larry is the son of Winston Cup legend David Pearson, and brother to the teams Winston Cup crew chief, Ricky Pearson and Buckshot Racing tire specialist, Eddie Pearson.
