NASCAR Busch Series driver Wayne Grubb is resting at his home in Mechanicsville, Va., after a hard crash at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday. The 22-year-old suffered a broken right shoulder during the Yellow Freight 300. Grubb, while trying to avoid an altercation between Geoffrey Bodine and Phil Parsons, slid headfirst into the outside retaining wall. Grubb was cut from the car and transported to an Atlanta-area hospital. Surgery will not be required. The Grubb Motorsports team plans to be in Darlington, S.C., this weekend for the Diamond Hill Plywood 200. A replacement driver for Grubb has not been named, but the team is interviewing potential drivers and an announcement will come later this week.
